8 Tournaments + Masters Event, April - August 2015
The Peters Junior Development Series is an 8 tournament series run by the Boroondara Tennis Centre specifically and which is a part of Tennis Victoria's Junior Development Series. These tournaments run specifically for Boys and Girls in the 9 & under, 10 & under, 11 & under and 13 & under age groups, plus for the first time we will be offering Boys and Girls 15 & under singles for the final 3 tournaments of the Series.
The idea behind the series is to provide an opportunity for players in these younger age groups to gain experience through regular quality match play opportunities under tournament conditions. The series is also part of Tennis Victoria's Junior Development Series and serves as a key means of junior talent identification in the state.
Players can enter as many tournaments during the series as they wish. For each tournament played in the 10 & under, 11 & under and 13 & under events, points are awarded according to a player's results. These are updated after each tournament and compiled in a points table, which can be viewed online here, allowing players to follow their progress in the series. At the end of the series the top 8 players in each age group are invited back to play in a special Masters Tournament held to decide the overall series champions.
Play for the 10s, 11, 13s and 15s age groups will be scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoons after 12:30 pm, so as to avoid school sport and club tennis commitments. The 9 & under round robin events are played only on Sunday afternoons, with matches not scheduled before 1:30 pm.

We are currently working through the player eligibility and will be sending out Masters Tournament invitations very shortly.
Boys & Girls 9 & under round robins will be open to all players to enter

BreakPoint Analysis Match Recording 2015 Peters MJDS Tournament Notes:
This year we have made a number of small changes to the Peters Junior Development Series which we would like to make everyone aware of. This year we are only planning on scheduling matches on the Saturday and Sunday afternoon after 12:30 pm. If we do receive a large number of entries in any particular age group we may need to consider scheduling a small number of matches on Friday afternoon. However if this is the case we will notify all players directly. In another change this year, we will be restricting entries to one age group only.
The Boys and Girls 9 & under round robin events will again be played on Sundays only, with matches not scheduled before 1:30 pm at the Boroondara Tennis Centre. These events will use the 75% compression 'green' balls.

All tournament withdrawals must be made in writing to info@boroondaratenniscentre.com.au For withdrawals on the day of play, please ensure that you also phone the tournament officials at the Centre on 9850 1175.
Refunds of entry fees are made strictly in accordance with the Boroondara Tennis Centre Tournament Refund Policy. No refunds will be issued without a written notification of your withdrawal, and for the purpose of issuing refunds, the date we receive your written notification is the date you are considered to have withdrawn from the tournament.
It is the player's and Parent's responsibility to be aware of the withdrawal procedures and to ensure that any withdrawal notification or medical certificates are received by the Tournament Director. Supporting medical certificates must be submitted to the Tournament Director before the conclusion of the tournament.
