Director's Report March 2016

Hello and welcome to the next edition of our newsletter and my Directors report. It hasbeen extremely busy as you would expect and would have seen over these past 2 to 3 months and we appreciate the support our clients have shown. One of the big changes that occurred in the past few weeks was the closing of the Tennis Shop. This was unfortunately out of the Centre’s control but we are pleased to announce that management and Council have come to an agreement to relaunch the Tennis Shop within the facility itself.

Director's Report December 2015

Welcome to the December issue of our newsletter. The coming 3 to 4 months is an extremely busy period on the Centre’s calendar, and importantly, offers all clients a wonderful variety of tennis programs and events for all ages and standards! One of these areas is the tournament scene, and it is now in ‘full swing’ across the State and in particular, here at Boroondara. With so many events on and with such a variety of events on, it is really important to gain some genuine advice and knowledge of what may suit your own individual needs and expectations.

Director's Report November 2015

In this month’s report I think it is important to touch on the correct thoughts and actions involved with warming up, prior to your matches and or training sessions. Upon attending a recent workshop at the National Tennis Centre with Dr. Mark Kovacs, it was pleasing to hear the value put on warming up correctly and without rushing through a series of exercises. The vital piece of information for all to understand is to ensure you do the exercises no matter what they are, with the correct technique involved and displayed.
